GNU is making a mistake by prohibiting AI contributions. There are times to be cautious, but this isn't one of them. Let people develop good software they way they want to. OpenJDK is doing something similar under the guise of copyright uncertainty. I understand these organizations have very smart lawyers assessing the situation, but they are still making the wrong call. See you in 2029.
